An Invitation To Accept Christ

What If It's True?

Soul, what if it's true?

What if hell is real after all?

What if there's a place of eternal torment

that actually burns, inflicting both body and soul?!

What if it's true?

What if you descend into the bottomless pit,

lost in total darkness?

What if the only arms you ever feel

are the vengeful arms of flaming fire lashing out at you,

having mocked and blasphemed God?

What if it's true?

What if hell is real after all?

What if in this place you realize that saying "yes"  to your friends,

was saying "no" to God?

In hell, you won't be remembering the "good old days,"

the times playing in the pit of sin.

Your every thought will be on how you rejected God's love;

when He desperately tried to reach you.

Soul, what if its true?

What if hell is real after all?

What if in this place, you remember all the times

God tried to block you from your own destruction,

but you kept walking, walking away from God.

You'll remember how you drank to your own foolishness,

laughing and mocking the things of God.

Now you curse yoursel, and them, because of what has happened to you!

Soul, what if it's true?

What if in this place you realize that your memory is sharper,

clearer than it has ever been?

What if you remember every shameful word you spoke,

every sinful act as it is played back in your memory over and over again?

You will be reminded of how you couldn't be bothered with Jesus,

how you had no time for Him.

Now you have time! You'll have all eternity to remember.

Now, He doesn't have time for you.

What will you say for yourself at the Judgement

when the Lord takes His place on the throne

to judge every individual that has ever lived?

What if you believed the words you wanted to hear,

rather than listen to the voice of God?

The truth has been so diluted,

that many have been deceived and will be damned forever.

If I'm wrong... I lose nothing,

if you're wrong you'll lose everything!

***

It's a sobering thought, isn't it?

Death often comes as a thief in the night,

you may not know when the hour will come.

Many of you tonight have not yet surrendered your life to Christ.

You are uncertain of where you will spend eternity

if your soul was required of you.

The Scripture says,

"For God so loved the world,

that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in Him

should not perish, but have everlasting life.

                    - John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Hm from the dead,

thou shalt be saved."

                           ~ Romans 10:9

Tonight,  you can make peace with God.

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"O God, I am a sinner.

I'm sorry for my sins.

I want to turn from my sins.

I accept You as my Savior,

I confess You as my Lord.

From now on I want to follow You.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you have received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior

after reading this invitation, please let us know.

We would love to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.

We'll leave the light on for you...
