Every
day nearly 200,000 people will take their final
breath
and slip into eternity, either in Heaven
or in Hell.
Alhough their lives may never made
headlines
the reality of death happens every day.
"What
happens the moment after you die?"
The moment you die,
your soul temporarily departs from your
body
to await the Resurrection.
Those
who place their faith in Christ
will be in the presence of the Lord,
surrounded by loved ones and friends
that they have known on the earth.
Meanwhile, unbelievers will be engulfed
in darkness.
They will be fully aware of their state.
Images of their life on this earth will
play back in their memory.
It will torment their soul
when they think back to their family and friends.
"Then
shall the dust return to the earth as it was
and the Spirit shall return unto God who
gave it."
(Ecclesiastes 12:7)
Loved
ones will gather around your casket
to say goodbye to a life they held dear.
Tears
of loss fall in recollection of memories shared.
How quickly time had slipped!
The
breavity of life.
Unless prearrangements have been made,
your loved ones will plan your funeral.
They
will take care in the write up of your obituary,
while your body remains silent,
obilivious to the confusion.
Although you are unable to communicate
with them,
your soul will be more alive than it has
ever been.
The
preacher will be called
and relatives come to be with your family.
Pallbearers will carry your body to its final resting place
where words of comfort are offered,
as they lower the casket into the ground.
Mourners offer their condolences
by placing roses and carnations onto the
grave.
In grief, they turn to embrace one
another
carrying with them their memories tucked
in their hearts.
Although the unbeliver's body remains
resting,
who can fathom
the depths the hell he is experiencing?!
His spirit screams as Hell from beneath is moved
to meet him at his coming!
Unprepared is he to meet God!

Although he cries in his torment
his prayer offers no value whatsoever,
for
a great gulf is fixed between Heaven and Hell
where no one can pass to the other side.
Hopelessly, he stares at his confusion!
The
beautiful words spoken in his eulogy
bare no resembelance to the reality that
he now face.
Alone, he is left in his misery!
Alone in his memories.
The flame of hope forever extinguished
of seeing his loved ones again.
On
the contrary, precious to the Lord is the death of His saints.
Escorted by the angels into the presence
of the Lord
they are now comforted.
Their trials and suffering are past.
Alhough their presence will be missed,
they have hope of seeing their loved ones
again.

Many
people don't like to think about death.
They would rather live in denial than to
believe that it will happen to them.
But the statistics show that one in one
will die
unless the Lord comes in our lifetime.
One
day we must all stand in God's presence
to give an account of our lives to Him.
The Books of our lives will be opened.
Each
thought... each word...
each motive of our hearts will be
revealed
in His illuminating light.
What
shall we say then,
but to plea the blood of Jesus Christ!
Many
people are trusting in their good works
to buy them a ticket to Heaven.
But the scriptures says,
"...unless you repent of your sins
you cannot enter the Kingdom of
God."
You may say, "I would like to go to
Heaven.
I would like to have this hope in my
heart
that when I die I will be in the presence
of the Lord
and not go to Hell with out Him.
The Scriputre says,
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who
are in Christ..."Romans 8:1
There is no judgement, no hell, for those who are in Christ.
You can confess your sins, and turn from them,
and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior
now.
At this moment, you can bow your head and
say,
"God, have mercy on me, a
sinner." (Luke 18:13
He
will hear that simple prayer,
and the Spirit of God will come into your
heart
and give you the gift of Eternal Life
and begin a relationship with Him
by praying a prayer such as the following:
"Dear Lord, I am a sinner.
I have been a sinner all of my life,
Forgive me, Lord!
Don't cast me away from Your presence.
I want to turn from my sin.
I accept the Lord Jesus as my Savior;
I accept Him as my Lord.
From
now on, I want to follow Him.
In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you have decided to trust
Jesus Christ as your Savior
after reading this
invitation, we would love to hear from you.
(Your first name is
sufficient)
