Warning: The Road to Destruction

Tell a Friend

"If sinners will be dammed, at least let them leap

to hell over our bodies.

And if they will perish,

let them perish with our arm about their knees,

imploring them to stay.

If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled

in the teeth of our exertions,

and let not one go there unwarned

and unprayed for."

                        -C. H. Spurgeon

 Forgiveness of Sins

"Enter ye in at the strait gate:

for wide is the gate,

and broad is the way,

that leadeth to destruction,

and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate,

and narrow is the way,

which leadeth unto life,

and few there be that find it."

(Matthew 7:13-14)

We all come to a crossroad in our lives

where we must  make a decision.

Each man must decide for himself,

where he will spend eternity.

Many have chosen the broad path,

the path of least resistance.

It's pictureous beauty graced with comfort,

uninhibited by the cares of life.

Wildflowers caress its hillside,

with sunlit fields of endless pleasures.

The sound of laughter echos in the distance,

not giving a thought to Christ.

Few have chosen the narrow path,

with its jagged edges, and steep cliffs.

Rough and worn, by the way of forgiveness.

isolated by the comforts of this world.

Tear stains grace the face of the pilgrim,

as he travels homeward to his Home in Heaven.

Throwing off everything thing that hinders him,

focused on the things of Christ.

Oh soul, which path are you traveling on?

The road that leads to destruction

or the road that leads to life.

All must come through the blood of the cross.

Their sins have been forgiven.

Souls who choose its broad path,

will ultimately be bound in chains of darkness.

Silhouttes of demons cast its long shadows.

Suicide, no longer an option.

The only arms that will embrace them

are the wrathful arms of unquenchable fire,

lashing out relentlessly, like the turbulant waves of the sea.

They will scream out for the mercy of death,

but there is none.

Hope is forever extinguished in this place,

yet God must honor their decision.

Hell is inhabited by people who at the crossroad of their life

trusted in their own human acheivement

rather than casting themselves at the mercy of God.

Anyone's whose name is not found in the Boook of Life,

will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

"Jesus saith unto him,

I am the way, the truth, and the life:

No man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

-John 14:6

***

Soul,

The Lord is not willing that any should perish,

but that all should come by faith to repentance.

Those who die in their sins will feel God's justice.

The believers shall see the dreadful miseries of the damned

and realize that they also deserve the same misery

if it were not for His sovereign grace.

One day, we will see the souls of the damned,

and be in an agreement with God

that justice was served.

The film will be removed from our eyes,

and we will not question His justice.

but rather, be overwhelmed with His grace,

and will see how God has revealed Himself

to each person,

in opportunities He gave them to believe.

Yet God doesn't enforce His love upon anyone.

A person must receive what Christ has done for him,

by acknowledging the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior

and place their faith in Him.

Those who will not believe on the Lord Jesus,

God can do nothing else but to condemn them.

But tonight you can make a decision for Christ.

You can have your sins forgiven

and begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"O God, I am a sinner.

I'm sorry for my sin.

Please forgive me.

I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on I want to follow Him.

Thank you for saving my soul.

In Jesus' name. Amen."

If you have decided to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior
