The Last Days

Are you ready?  Are you ready?  Are you ready? 

Then the disciples said unto Him,

"...Tell us, when shall these things be?

and what shall be the sign of thy coming,

and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them,

Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying,

I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:

see that ye be not troubled:

for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nations shall rise against nation,

and kingdom against kingdom:

and there shall be famines, and pestilences,

and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

~ Matthew 24:3b-8

...And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end,

the same shall be saved.

And the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached

in all the world for a witness unto all nations;

and then shall the end come."

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man,

no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

But as the days of Noah were,

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood

they were eating and drinking,

marrying and given in marriage,

until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;

so shall the coming of the Son of man be.

~ Matthew 24:36-39

" Therefore be ye also ready:

for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. "

~ Matthew 24:44

Oh soul, Are you ready?

Are you prepared for the Lord's coming?

Unbelievers will carry on their usual business.

They will not listen to His divine warnings.

They will be dumbfounded.

They will be swept away into eternity,

all the men, women, and children that of  the world

will be destroyed.

The fire shall burn up the earth, and all that is therein.

The Lord shall come as a thief in the night.

Not even the angels in heaven know the hour.

The Lord will close the door forever.

Many will seek entrance into heaven but will be denied.

Their names not written in the book of life.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels,

and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend,

and them which do iniquity;

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:

there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

~ Matthew 13:40-42

Oh soul, take heed to His solemn warning!

Prepare your soul for His coming!

Every day, on the news, its the same old stuff, another story.

Wars and rumors of war.

Earthquakes increasing in their frequency and intensity.

The day of the Lord is drawing near.

The gospel is being preached in remote places around the world via internet.

The Lord is on the verge of His coming.

The signs of His approaching are coming together.

The Lord is going to burn the earth up

and its going to be like lava.

He's going to make a new heaven and a new earth.

He's going to destroy all the wicked and burn them up,

those who did not place their faith in Him.

"Enter ye in at the strait gate:

for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,

that leadeth to destruction,

and many there be which go in therat:

Because strait is the gate,

and narrow is the way,

which leadeth unto life,

and few there be that find it."

~ Matthew 7:13-14

Yet, if you don't believe in the Lord, you're going to hell.

There is no pleasant way to say it.

The Scripture says,

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

                   ~ Romans 3:23

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved."

                  ~ Romans 10:9

Don't fall asleep without Jesus

until you are assured of a place in heaven.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of eternal life

you must first believe in the Lord.

You have to ask to have your sins forgiven

and place your trust in the Lord.

There's only one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of salvation.

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I am a sinner.

I am sorry for my sins.

I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on I want to follow Him.

In Jesus' name, Amen."
