Facing Death Row  Faith and Evidence  The Furnace of Suffering in This Life

The Judgement of the Unbeliever

The Great White Throne of Judgement

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;

and the books were opened:

and another book was opened, which is the book of life:

and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,

according to their works. "

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life

was cast into the lake of fire."

              ~ Revelation 20: 12&15

Oh, the dreadful day of the unbeliever

when those who have rejected the Lord Jesus

shall appear before Him

at The Great White Throne of Judgement.

Records of their life will be brought before them

to be used as overwhelming evidence against them.

They shall have nothing to say in their defense.

Every accusation will be confirmed with precise accuracy

by the records written in the books.

They will tremble at His holiness

as scenes of their lives will be played back in their memory.

Every thought, every word, every motive of their heart shall be revealed

to render to them various degrees of punishment

according to their works.

Then He shall say to them,

"...Depart from me, ye cursed,

into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."

                ~ Matthew 25:41

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:

but the righteous into life eternal."

                  ~ Matthew 25:46

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life

was cast into the lake of fire."

Oh soul, how senseless for you to reject the Lord Jesus

when I so desperately tried to warn you.

Your blood shall not be on my hands,

unwarned and unloved.

Tonight, Jesus stands ready to forgive you.

You will stand before Him either as a forgiven child of God,

or at the Great White Throne of Judgement

when He shall cast those who have rejected Him

into a night that has no morning.

The Scripture says,

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

               ~ Romans 3:23

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved."

             ~ Romans 10:9

Don't fall asleep without Jesus

until you are assured of a place in heaven.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of eternal life

first you must believe in the Lord.

You have to ask for your sins to be forgiven

and put your trust in the Lord.

There's only one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of salvation.

You can begin a personal relationship with him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I am a sinner.

I am sorry for my sins.

I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on I want to follow Him.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

                          ~ Romans 10:13

"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world..."

                         ~ Ephesians 1:4

If you have received the Lord Jesus as your Savior

after reading this invitation, please let us know.

We would love to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.
