Dear Child,

So many times lately I heard you say

how much you want to die.

My tears were in the rain,

gliding down the window glass

with loving thoughts of you.

You turn to drugs and alcohol to numb your pain

when others have turned away.

I long that you would run into My waiting arms

to console you in your deepest pain.

Everything seems to you so dumb... so pointless.

Even the things you once enjoyed

you find no pleasure in.

You withdraw into your room and crank up the music

to drown the thoughts saying,

"They'd be better off without you."

My child, you are too precious.

Would you reallly want to meet Me that way?

Could you envision spending eternity trying to erase the memory

of your mom standing there at your grave.

The needless guilt you would have place on her

by such a selfish act.

Suicide, a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Do you think there's no life after death?

Suicide is a night that has no morning.

Where you exchange the problems you're facing

for eternity in hell.

Satan would love for you to believe that you would be better off,

to take a "vacation" from your problems.

So that He could add you into His kingdom.

In hell, you would be replaying over and over in your mind,

the very thing that you were trying to escape from.

"Hell from beneath is moved for thee

to meet thee at thy coming..."

~ Isaiah 14:9a

but My grace is sufficient for thee.

"Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:

therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

~ Jeremiah 31:3b

Come unto Me...My precious fallen child.

The Scripture says,

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

            ~ Romans 3:23

Soul, that includes you and me.

Only when we realize the reality of our sin against God

and feel its deep sorrow in our hearts,

can we turn from the sin we once loved

and accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved."

        ~ Romans 10:9

Don't fall asleep without Jesus

until you are assured of a place in heaven.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of eternal life

first you must believe in the Lord.

You have to ask for your sins to be forgiven

and put your trust in the Lord.

There's only one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of salvation.

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying from your heart a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I'm a sinner.

I've been a sinner all of my life.

Forgive me, Lord.

I receive Jesus as my Savior.

I trust Him as my Lord.

Thank you for saving me.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you have received the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior

after reading this invitation, please let us know.

We would love to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.

"Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved"

              ~ Acts 2:21b

Welcome to the family of God!

We are excited about your decision to accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior,

and would like to encourage you to find a church that you could be a part of

to help you grow in your new walk with Him.

Also, we encourage you to develop a personal relationship with the Lord

by reading the Scriptures and praying to Him often.

Talk to Him as you would talk to a dearest friend.

He desires that closeness and intimacy with you!

"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd:

he shall gather the lambs with his arm,

and carry them in his bosom,

and gently lead those that are with young."

                 ~ Isaiah 40:11
