To those who
are in jail, in prison, or on death row,
we are not
here to condemn you
or to judge
where you've been,
but rather
here to offer you hope...
Hope that is
found in Jesus Christ.
May our words
be a source
of comfort
and encouragement to you
as you go
through this difficult time.
Jesus, the Friend of Sinners
Dear child.
Last night I
saw you weeping,
crying into
your pillow.
How I longed
to comfort you,
to tell you
how much I love you.
Your sadness
clouded out My Presence.
My tears were
in the rain.
I understand
your thoughts,
your ways are
known to Me.
I have come
that you might have life
and have it
more abundantly.
For I have
plans to prosper you
and not to
harm you,
plans to give
you hope and a future.
Sometimes I
see your defeat
in the
stooping of your shoulders,
as you walk
down its familiar halls.
How I long to
reach out to you,
to whisper to
you softly,
to let you
know how much I love you.
Through the
years I have watched you
as you
quietly sit there in your cell.
You wait to
pay the debt of your past
of sins that
I have long forgiven.
With each
clanging of the prison bars
closing in
behind you, you shiver at its coldness.
You cry out
to Me for mercy again,
even though I
have forgiven you
the first
time that you asked.
Tears of
regret will never ease the pain
that is
spoken in your eyes.
Your unworthiness makes you worthy
to come
boldly before the throne of grace.
"For the
sacrifices of God
are a broken
spirit:
a broken and
contrite heart,
O God, Thou
wilt not despise."
Although you must pay with your life
for the life
you took,
you need not
to bear its shame.
For I
took your sin and nailed it to the cross.
As far as the
east is from the west,
never to be
remembered again!
Those who
place their faith in Me
I will take
them Home in glory.
When you must
walk that last stretch of the mile,
don't be
afraid, My precious child,
for in that
darkest hour
when you hear
one set of footsteps in the hall,
it is then,
that I'll carry you.

Dear Soul,
The Lord
loves you incredibly!
Enough to
suffer the agony on the cross.
He could have
sent a legion of angels to rescue Him,
but He
didn't.
He longs to
have a relationship with you
and spend
eternity with you in heaven.
The Scripture says,
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
~ Romans
3:23
"That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus
and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou
shalt be saved."
~
Romans 10:9
Tonight, if
you would like to receive the gift of eternal life
first you
must believe in the Lord.
You have to
ask for your sins to be forgiven
and put your
trust in the Lord.
There's only
one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.
That's God's
wonderful plan of salvation.
You can begin
a personal relationship with Him
by praying a
prayer such as the following:
"Dear God, I am sinner.
I am sorry
for my sins!
I want to
turn from my sin.
I receive
Jesus Christ as my Savior;
I confess Him
as my Lord.
From now on I
want to follow Him.
In Jesus'
name, Amen."
"For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
~ Romans 10:13
"According
as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world..."
~ Ephesians 1:4
If you have received the Lord Jesus as your Savior
after reading
this invitation, please let us know.
We would love
to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.
We'll leave
the light on for you...

Welcome to
the family of God!
We are
excited about your decision to accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior,
and would
like to encourage you to find a local church that you could be a part of
to help you
grow in your new walk with Him.
Also, we
encourage you to develop a personal relationship with the Lord
by reading
the Scriptures and praying to Him often.
Talk to Him
as you would talk to a dearest friend.
He desires
that closeness and intimacy with you!
"He
shall feed his flock like a shepherd:
he
shall gather the lambs with his arm,
and
carry them in his bosom,
and
gently lead those that are with young."
~ Isaiah 40:11

"If
I could sit beside that ten year old girl on the swing in the park,
what
would I tell her?
I
would tell her she is beautiful.
I
would tell her not to be afraid when the road gets bumpy,
because
she is never alone.
I
would tell her when she ends up in a psychiatric hospital
its
just another stop on the path,
a
place to learn not to be afraid,
to
lose what seems to matter
because
she will find exactly what matters.
I
would tell her if she falls down she will get back up again.
I
would tell her that God can be fully trusted
with
her hopes and dreams, her fears and her failures.
I
will tell her then:
Swing
as high as you can."
