Dear Soul,
The road may have seemed steep today, and you feel alone.
Someone you trust has disappointed you.
God sees your tears... He feels your pain,
and longs to comfort you
for He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
God loves you so much
that He sent His only Son, Jesus,
to die in your place.
He offers you forgiveness tonight
for every past mistake you ever made.
His blood will wash away every sin
(Past, Present, and Future),
if you will confess them to Him
and repent of your sins.
Maybe you feel,
"He won't forgive my sins
for they are too great.
You don't know the sins I've committed,
I strayed too far from His love."
I understand your thoughts, dear soul,
I too, felt unworthy,
undeserving of His love.
I knelt at the foot of the cross
pleading for mercy
as you do tonight.
I, the chief of sinners
but such is the grace of our God.
Maybe you feel that His love won't reach
to where you have been.
Maybe you have fallen into a hole,
into a dark pit of sin,
and would feel embarassed if any one knew...
Don't be disheartened, dear soul,
for the Scriptures says,
"for I am not come to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance." (Matthew 9:13)
that includes both you and I.
Jesus took all of your sins
and nailed them to Calvary.
There, He suffered the wrath of God
as His own Father turned His back,
so that those who put their trust in Him
will be justified.
"Therefore being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ."
(Romans 5:1)
Our sin was so intolerable to God,
that it seperated us from the Father.
If it were not for what Jesus did on the cross,
there would be no forgiveness of sin.
Can you fatham such love?
Such depth of mercy
so that we may be right with God,
having suffered for us the torments of hell.
It should humble our hearts,
we should be overwhelmed by His love
that we would plea His blood,
and turn away from our sin.
Soul,
It was not by chance that our paths met tonight,
the Lord has planned our steps by His divine appointment,
in order to share the gospel of His grace,
to every person that comes into our path.
Did you know that you are so precious to Him?
You were on His mind when He walked the lonesome
road to Calvary,
to suffer the most agonizing death
so that you may have forgiveness of sin.
He bore the full payment of your sin
when He laid down His life willingly,
so that we might have life.
Such love, I cannot comprehend...
but such is the grace of our God.
Soul, may I ask you tonight,
have you felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit
lead you to the cross,
to plead the mercy of God?
We all must come through the cross,
through the blood of Christ
and accept God's gift of forgiveness
that He offers to you...
I urge you to make a decision tonight...
don't put of what Christ has already done for you.
"For by grace are you saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God.
Not of works, lest any man should boast."
( Ephesians 2:8)
What will you do with His blood, dear soul?
Are you willing to turn from your sin
and be offered a brand new start?
Right now, wherever you are,
you can bow your head,
and commit life to Christ.
You can begin a relationship with Him
by praying a prayer such as the following:
"Oh God, I am sinner.
I am sorry for my sins.
Please forgive me.
I want to turn from my sin.
I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;
I confess Him as my Lord.
From now on, I want to follow Him.
In Jesus' name, Amen."
If you have decided to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior
after reading this invitation,
we would love to hear from you.
(Your first name is sufficient.)
I am not promising that the roads ahead will be smooth,
but no longer will you face them alone.
The Lord's presence will be your guide
as you travel the roads of life together.
He desires to be close to you.
He shows you His love in the bouquets of flowers
that He spreads across the fields.
He paints beautiful sunsets to close each night
with a promise that He will be with you
through the darkness of night.
He greets you in the sunrise,
desiring to spend another day with you.
I hope that you have chosen to have a relationship with
Him,
and that one day we will meet in Eternity.
He reached down His hand to me,
reach out your hand to grasp His.

We encourage you to find a local church
that you could feel a part of
in your new relationship with Christ.
