Hell - The Chosen Home of the Unbeliever

Living in this fallen world

with its heartache and sorrow, we long for heaven;

but hell, the chosen home of the unbeliever,

will be a place of inconsolable grief.

When one walks into the doorway of hell

no one is there to welcome you.

No familiar voice that calls out your name

whose glad to see you come, and sad to see you go.

There's no sound of familiar footsteps on the porch,

no logs warming in the fire.

No delight of daffodils and forsythias in the Spring,

no aroma of coffee in the morning.

There's no comforts of home, no moments of pleasure.

No place to rest your weary head.

You feel like a lost soul.

Everything you enjoy is being taken away from you

and you feel worthless.

You would rather die than to live like this

as you sink in the despair of hopelessness.

Your heartache is inconsolable

as you sob alone in the darkness.

There's no warm embrace to comfort you,

no glimmer of hope or words of encouragement.

Grief-stricken faces stare without hope

shut out from the presence of the Lord.

Naturally, you turn to your loved ones,

but no one is there to comfort you.

Your loved one will never walk in the door.

Its inconsolable grief overwhelms you,

it's a heartache that will never go away.

Alone, you are left in your thoughts,

alone in your memories.

The flame of hope is forever extinguished

of seeing your loved ones again.

Regret and evil torments you

as silhouettes of images flash against the wall.

Hell is a place of continual deterioration.

It's a place where you will never feel at home.

Dear soul,

It doesn't sound too homey does it?

Yet everyday thousands of people slip into eternity

having not accepted the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior.

The Scripture says,

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

               ~ Romans 3:23

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved."

               ~ Romans 10:9

Don't fall asleep without Jesus

until you are assured of a place in heaven.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of eternal life

first you must believe in the Lord.

You have to ask for your sins to be forgiven

and put your trust in the Lord.

There's only one way to heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of salvation.

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I am sinner.

I am sorry for my sin.

I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on I want to follow Him.

In Jesus' name. Amen."

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

                          ~ Romans 10:13

"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world..."

                         ~ Ephesians 1:4

If you have received the Lord Jesus as your Savior

Welcome to the family of God!

We are excited about your decision to accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior,

and would like to encourage you to find a local church that you could be a part of

to help you grow in your new walk with Him.

Also, we encourage you to develop a personal relationship with the Lord

by reading the Scriptures and praying to Him often.

Talk to Him as you would talk to a dearest friend.

He desires that closeness and intimacy with you!

"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd:

he shall gather the lambs with his arm,

and carry them in his bosom,

and gently lead those that are with young."

                 ~ Isaiah 40:11
