A Call For Duty

Dear Soul

God loves you.

He loves you so much

that He sent His only Son Jesus

to die on the cross to pay for all of our sins.

"For God so loved the world,

that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in Him

shall not perish;

but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

You see, God made the world, and everything in it.

He didn't have to put His Son, Jesus,

through the torture to save us.

He could have left us, abandoned us.

He could have sent more than 12 legions of angels

to rescue Him from the cross,

but He didn't.

Love hung Him to the cross,

showing us what true love really is.

"Greater love hath no man than this,

that a man lay down his life for His friends." (John 15:13)

God wants us to repent of our sins

to turn away from them

and believe that God sent His Son Jesus

to die to forgive our sins.

To believe that He rose from the grave on the third day,

claiming the victory.

Isn't it great that God loves us so much.

God does not want us to hold this joy inside,

but to spread the gospel throughout the world.

To share the good news;

the many good things God did for you.

Don't be afraid to step up to the plate.

Let others know how much God loves them too.

You may deal with troubles,

but don't let that stop you.

Keep the faith, and God Bless.

Do you know Christ?

Have you been to the cross in repentance for sin?

Right now, wherever you are,

you can bow your head,

and commit your heart and life to Christ.

You can begin a relationship with Christ

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"Oh God, I am sinner. I am sorry for my sins.

Forgive me. I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on, I want to follow Him.

In Jesus' name, Amen."
